# tao-usd-price (/docs/query/tao-usd-price)

The accepted price falls to the feed at once and rises toward it by at most
0.0066% (66 ppm) of itself per block, and mints value TAO at it. Minting needs a
feed at most 300 blocks old, so no new mint succeeds once `blocks_since_last_feed`
exceeds 300.
