# EmissionWeightIndexOutOfRange (/docs/errors/chain/EmissionWeightIndexOutOfRange)

`sudo_set_subnet_emission_weights` named a slot index outside the five-slot emission weight vector. Valid indices are 0 = burn, 1 = recycle, 2 = owner, 3 = validator, 4 = miner; later slots (e.g. gamma buys) are reserved for a future runtime.
